Well how do I begin?
Do I make some grand sweeping statement that sums up all that I stand for? Make some inane joke to break the proverbial ice in the vain attempt you find me humorous?
Either of these options seems rather inadequate in introducing me to the broad blogging and online community. I am for lack of better explanation, beginning this endeavour because I simply love to write and express my opinion. I love to tweet random things on Twitter but as of late have found the platform limited. So I have decided to dive in amongst the millions of aspiring writers such as myself and just, I don't know, be honest about how I view the world. Every cynical, ironic and sometimes naive thought.
Why you may ask?
Because ultimately I feel I have something to say. Sometimes it is something valid, most times it is trivial thoughts on life, death or whatever issue is playing upon my mind. If you don't like what I say, or what I profess to support, what I choose to believe in, then that's your opinion. Yet I hope you allow me the rights to express my opinions and I shall then respect any of your opinions you express in return.
What I hope to use this blog for is first and foremost is writing prose, but I will also occasionally try my hand at poetry (no judging!), upload photographs, maybe upload videos and stories. I guess what this for me is a space to express myself. I currently work in a job that on daily basis doesn't allow my the opportunity to fulfil the creative inclinations of my personality. So.....I guess if you want a definite sentence of what this blog is, this is me.
This a new beginning.
